did you get the name right just looked for him on IMDB and there was no reference to him being in Eastenders and Eastenders past and present he was on the Bill in 2002

Are you sure about the name. I found a page on Wickopedia and there's no such name listed as starring as far back as 1990 till today. He was in the Bill though and a few other things. But not in Eastenders.

According to the IMdb database, the actor GEOFF BELL played an unspecified role, in ITV's "THE BILL", but NOT in "EASTENDERS". The one actor, I know, who HAS, actually, appeared in BOTH, is TODD CARTY. He played MARK FOWLER, (replaced actor DAVID SCARBORO, in the role), in "EASTENDERS", - and psycho-cop "GABRIEL" aka "DAVID KENT" in "THE BILL"
