I recently found out I am pregnant and so I got a pap done... I got a letter stating that there was cervical dysplasia.... My question is all of my lab work came out normal, and whenever I am NOT pregnant my paps are normal should I be worried? Or not? When I called the dr's office, I stated my next appt is in a week... Should I come in now or wait until my appt... The Nurse told me to wait until my appt... Should I be worried? When the Dr did the pap I asked him if everything looked ok (i know he can't be 100% because he needs to send the specimen off to the lab) I mean he's probulary done a lot of paps in his career and certain things are noticable right? So If he saw something (anything abnormal) he would have told me right instead of saying "it looks ok".... Help....

pregnancy can mess with the pap due to hormone changes and everything and them not sounding to concern should make you at ease. Im sure everything is just fine.
