They are quite vicious animals and even if they are somewhat used to humans you still risk getting hurt! If I were in your shoes I'd get the guys licence plate number and report him to the athorities. Endangered species are illigal to own unless you have proper licences, facilities and training... and usually Zoos only have that. Sadly the species in a whole is fading out quickly due to an increase of cancer of the face. Save him, don't buy him for a pet.

Personally I would have paid the fifty and then brought it to the nearest zoo! When buying a pet, you must ask yourself; what do I know about this animal, what sort of habitat does it need, what will keep it well nurished, and is it a safe and gentle animal around the rest of the world? Are you from Australia? Well the climate and flora in that continent has what the taz loves and is supposed to thrive on...also don't you think the little creature should have another of its kind? Just because we want an animal doesn't mean we should have it.

First of all, it is probably illegal to sell or buy an endangered species and you might want to take a guess why it is called a devil....

They are not tame, they are mean and cannot be trained!!!

I don't care if he wants to give it to you and pay you to take it. You, it or someone else will get hurt. These are not cute and cuddly pets. They are wild animals.

Tasmanian's are evil and like to bite. It is also probably ellegal so I would get his license number and tell the cops because that is animal abuse.

Are you KIDDING?!? Don't buy an animal like that. They are very aggressive and who knows what could happen. Aren't their laws regarding the capture and domestication of WILD animals?
