Depends on what you want.

If it's a good book and a bottle of scotch you want, waiting for the blizzard to lie down then by all means choose Reykyavik. If you want chaos, every kind of booze you can think of, bright lights, cinemas, theatres, bars, the inevitable spliff, and more booze as well as Rembrandt-meets- Andy Warhol, choose Amsterdam.
