Mish - Cheney did make a statement. She criticised his statement as 'questioning her patriotism'. He rebutted her criticism.

I think anyone with an intelligence level above imbecile knows that Cheney is incapable of stating facts in any way, shape, or form. He lies as easily as he breathes, and is afraid he will suffocate if the truth passes his lips.

Remember his first public lie of the 2000 campaign, that he was the most capable person to be vp.

His best was how he choked up when he looked at the crosses as he flew over Arlington Cemetary. Um, Dickie, there are no crosses at Arlington.

I don't know if she cried, but I think she was absolutely shocked that he had the temerity to question her judgment. Saying he questioned her patriotism was nothing more than a rehash of Dem Talking Points intended, at least in this case, to keep people from noticing what he really said.

I believe it was the Vice President who did the insulting.
--As well she should have. She did not criticize him, she simply was stunned that he would question her patriotism, which he later said he never did.
WASHINGTON - Vice President Cheney on Wednesday harshly criticized the Iraq strategy advocated by Democratic leaders in Congress, saying their approach would "validate the al-Qaida strategy." House Speaker Nancy Pelosi fired back that Cheney's remarks were out of bounds.
"You cannot say as the president of the United States, 'I welcome disagreement in a time of war,' and then have the vice president of the United States go out of the country and mischaracterize a position of the speaker of the House and in a manner that says that person in that position of authority is acting against the national security of our country," the speaker said.

Why would she? It's the same neocon crap we've been hearing for years. She should thank him for handing her awful party Congress.

Her actions, statements, and path of flight from reality are givin comfort and solace to our enemies and putting our troops in danger. She needs to be tried for treason and shot.

Pelosi does not cry. She is a liberal democrat, and is never, ever wrong. God calls her every morning to find out what time she wants the sun to come up, and God lives in terror of her. She is so much better than God, and if you don't believe that, just ask her, and she will tell you.
