I am pretty sure that when the original TMNT movies were released, computer cgi was not an option. Not only was it pretty expensive, you couldn't do what you can do now. I have copies of all of the older ones, and if I am not mistaken, Corey Feldman is the voice of one of them, Donatello I think. I am pretty sure that if cgi was an option when they were made, they would have gone with the computer.

Computer CGI is cheaper, and live action was already done. This is another boost for some more TMNT dollars from the new generation of kids.

Live action Transformers movie? Now that should be interesting!

I think it was like this because the turtles still had to be done CGI. It's not like if they want them to look like the Thing from Fantastic Four. They probably realize that was easier just having all the characters CGI. It also makes you remember about the cartoon.

the new version is more true to the original comic it was originally intended to be rated R but they bumped it down to pg-13

idk, but i think its terrible..the original TMNT were wonderful..they should not have changed it with the computer one..they should have made another one with actual people again..
