What is the best ballet school to go to?

I am guessing you mean nationally in the USA so I called a friend who was a professional ballet dancer and instructor. She stated that the most prestigious is the School of American Ballet in New York. She also stated that there are several similar schools throughout the nation usually in large cities. But never underestimate small cities and towns either. For years MaryLynn's School of Ballet Arts in Riverside, CA could compete with almost all the larger prestigious schools primarily because she networked with these schools to obtain scholarships for her students to go further in their studies and professional dancing opportunities at many of these world reknown schools. Many of her students went onto professional dancer status. Which in my eyes is a good indicator of a good school. My source also told me when looking for a good ballet school that only ballet should be taught at that school/studio. I hope that helps.

The School of American Ballet! it is the best. If you aren't fortunate enough to get in though, I like The Washington Academy Of Performing Arts as well, I went there when I was little and I loved it(they have the company for older students as well) if you can though go to europe or russia, their schools are amazing, and they have the best dancers in the world there.
