As I was watching tv today I saw another one of the Geico Gekko spots, and it got me thinking...what is the best commercial series of all time.
Your answers must be commercials that have at least three in the series with the same characters/themes throughout all. I thought of some, but am curious what you might think.

Quiznos subs. I miss the sponge monkeys! (sorry to anyone who hasn't seen these commercials, or know what I am talking about). They were so ugly and goofy looking , and thats what I found most humerous!
The other one would have to be the Budweiser Clydesdales commercials they have shown during super bowls. The last one, with the streaking sheep, had my husband and I on the floor laughing so hard ! "We didn't need to see that!" !!! LOL

Well, by best do you mean personal favorites or most effective. Effective, I can remember the Where's the beef wendy commercials from the eighties. Also, time to make the donuts from dunkin donuts. Some commercials are so successful that, they generate their own revenues through marketing sales. One example is the "heard it through the grape vine" raisins, which generated dolls, posable figures and cartoons. Also, dominos avoid the noid commercial also led to noid dolls and toys, as did taco bells little dog. Some of my personal favorite, are the micheal Jordan I want to be like mike spots. The life cereal Mikey will eat anything commercials were good. I also like the dlenny.s you mean denny's commercials with the older ladies. The budweiser What's up commercials. The most annoying commercial (which also spun a tv show) was max headroom coke commercials..

Budweiser - Clydesdale football (I liked the streaker sheep and zebra ref doing the instant replay)
Budweiser - the frogs - then it got overdone
Geiko - "so easy a caveman could do it"
Geiko - trying to get other lizards to "get the word out" - especially the one that licks his eye
Energizer - the old "fake commercials" that the bunny would interrupt ("I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV") - you never knew what to expect when the commercials came on
Wendy's - the "Where's the beef?" lady

The Burger King Commercials with the family in the burger costumes.. the junior burger tells the father burger to take his head out of his bun!

a few years ago they had a group of commercials for Nabob coffee with a couple in an apt. building who meet over Nabob coffee and start dating, very cute and back then I think it was one of the first (that I can remember)

I still think (and agree with you) that to me the Geico have it down, the new cave man stuff is hilarious......so many of the great ones I could not tell you what the heck they were advertising...........
the bob ones that is for some kind of male enhancement..(ya like that works)......swelling with new pride......list is endless!!!! ( apparently so is bob)
