the actual vaccination and is the needle big?

I got the chicken pox vaccine when I was 16 and have never got the chicken pox. It is a shot in the side of the upper arm where there is barely any nerves to feel pain. It is one of the least painful things that a medical worker can stick in a patient is the vaccine. The only bad thing is that you got to get the shot in 3 intervals for it to be effective, just like the Hepatitis B vaccine.

I don't know. The shot didn't exist when I was a kid. I got the chicken pox when I was 8.
The chicken pox definitely are NOT fun and given the choice I'd have rather had the shot. The only plus of the chicken pox was the 2 week vacation from school.

It's a small needle, and the amount of vaccine is small; it stings a bit, like any other vaccine, but that's it. It definitely beats getting chicken pox, especially in adolesence!

Just a regular size neddle. It hurts like any other shot no more no less. But it's over quickly and beats the heck out of getting chicken pox.

I don't know but if you're worried you should get the chicken pox vaccination. That's what I got.

they do a bit but trust me I had chicken pox twice when I was a kid I would rather go with a shot if I had the choice back then

No not really if you don't move when you get a shot or don't look when the doctor give you a shot take my advice
