I can't print. I get a message in my printer's window TURN RAM DISK ON. I looked on the Dell support website but it doesn't tell you how to, just what it means.

I can't print on my network printer. We changed out the toner cartridges and the printer no longer prints jobs. The message we get on the printer is TURN RAM DISK ON. No one else in the network can send jobs to this printer. We don not have any MACs in the office. Dell computers, Dell Printer. Can someone help trouble shoot? The Dell support website is not helpful at all.

Sounds like the printer's fried.

I tried looking up "3100" as a Dell printer number and got nothing back. The 3500 series lists no such message.

A search of Kyocera printers shows that there maybe something in the front panel that can turn the RAM DISK back on. However, that should be documented in the manual. Sounds like it's time to call Dell for support.

I was a bit confused, you have a MAC. Go to:

It is all explained there.
