I from California, but i am in new orleans and no one here wears ugg boots. are they still in style?

Yes! They are in style like so much and I doubt that they will go out! All my friends wear the short ones with their jeans over them. (Not tucked in!) New Orleans needs to wake up! Uggs are SO in!

Does it matter. March to the beat of your own drum. If you want them, buy them. And if you don't, don't just buy them because other people have them.
And they should be a department stores and shoe stores like Payless.

We were them in Florida in the winter--but when I lived in WA--everyone wore them--because they are quite warm especially with skirts!
However, I can tell you who they are NOT popular with--Pamela Anderson. She's quite mad--that they actually use sheepskin.
