Did you like it or not? Good book or waste of time?

I have read it. It might seem lame, but it actually has some really good points. I like it! I think that it is kind of retarded, yet.... well, I don't know, there are DEFINITELY some things that my man and I can relate to, especially in the emotional and conversational aspect.

Great tag-line for something that we all figure out along the way anyway. I can sum up the whole book for you right now and save you a big waste of time -
Men are problem solvers and women are communicators. If you want to complain, call your girlfriends. If you want solutions, talk to the guys in your life.
Hey - I didn't write it, I'm just offering a summary of something that I wasted about an hour on before closing it for good. Everyone raved about it so I kept ploughing through before realizing it just wasn't going to get any better.
Hope that helps.

I have not read it and yet somehow already know that it's garbage.

Here are some more interesting and well-researched non-fiction books to try:
- "Nickeled and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America" by Barbara Ehrenreich
- "Harmful to Minors: The Perils of Protecting Children from Sex" by Judith Levine
- "Backlash: The Undeclared War Against American Women" by Susan Faludi
- "Stiffed: The Betrayal of the American Man" by Susan Faludi
