I am thinking of switchin to the talktalk talk3 package with free broad band. Replies only from people who use the package please.
I'm worried about the 'fair usage policy' as it says bandwith is restricted at certain times so that people using peer-to-peer programmes (which would include me) cannot bog down the system. Would i still be able to download say a 700mb file in approx 2hrs.. or would it have none of that at all??
Also it says to buy their own modem as an option.. saying that others may not work.. but does not specify which do. my current broad band modem is a speed touch 330 ADSL. The one they try to flog with the package is an ADSL 2, but is expensive.
Thanks for any repleis
