rap use to be good! I'm 16, i was like 6 when 2pac...yet i know all his songs, well not all, but you get it...he was the best! my fave song from him is changes--I see no faces, wake up in the mornin and ask myself is life worth livin or should i blast myself..cops give a damn about a ***** pull a trigger kill a ****** he's a hero..I love this song, because racism will never NEVER leave this world....atleast someone expresses it..bone thugs and harmony was good! i use to love ying yang twins...but peanut butter jelly!!?!? hope its not peter pan, or great value...but seriously rap use to be good, when it had rhythm, and meaning...and tupac did have those songs...bout drugs n all, we under i wonder what it takes to make this a better place, cuz both black or white smoke crack tonight...i dont know all of this word for word..havent heard this song in about a year...

If I may say so, rap in general doesn't suck. It is some of the subgenres of rap that suck (i.e., Snap, Hardcore, etc.) And some rappers like Lil Boosie and Rich Boy and Webbie and other like that only rap about the car they drive or how many b!tches they can fu*k or how much their jewelry costs. As if we care!!!!!!!! However, rappers like Common and Kanye have a deeper message in their music.

my mom listens to rap ... the new stuff like 50cent and Mike Jones .. yes my mom ... i really dont care for much of it ... my sister despises Beyonce but her newest song on the radio "Irreplaceable" is okay ... all you have to do is get past the crap of rap and listen to the words of the songs ... granted most of it is about sex and gangs or getting high or devaluing women. but here is your mission i am offering you ... listen to the new song by Ludacris and Mary J. Blige "Run Away Love" ... it is rap but it is also a really raw and good song.
All in all i think Rap is Crap but some of it is okay.

you gotta go through the worst part of the strom before the sun comes out.

my brother always says u can't spell crap without rap. how true is that there is only 3 other people in my class that dont listen to rap its is so sad. they r all white and they act like they r black. all rap is, is people talking really fast so u cant understand that all they are talking about is sex, girls asses, drugs, and their blinding bling. it is truely a no talent thing and iS a very bad influence on today's society. rap sucks, but this stuff i think ull like. im all for rock, punk, going to warped tour, etc. but this is good i promise u wont b dissapointed
