Um....by pressing the 'GO' button at the same time? Be more detailed about your question....

If you're talking about Rollercoaster Tycoon or another video, there was a button to press that allowed you to synchronize the coaster with its neighbor (if they're built right next to each other). I'm sure other games have the same thing.

If you're not talking about that, I don't know what you're asking about.

I'm pretty sure this subgrouping is to discuss ACTUAL amusement parks like Six Flags, Disney World, Cedar Point, etc.

Computer synchronization is now available (ex. - Dueling Dragons at Universal's Islands of Adventure) but in the old days with rides like Racer (Kings Island), Thunder Road (Carowinds), and Gemini (Cedar Point) the ride operators must do their best to synchronize the trains, that is why they are almost always never perfectly lined up.
