I have a video that says NTSC format. Do you know what that means?

Yes. NTSC is the analog television system in use in the United States and other countries. It is named for the National Television System(s) Committee, the U.S. standardization body that adopted it.

It means the video plays 29.95 frames per second. This is the video standard in the United States. Europe has a different standard, maybe PAL or SECAM.

Color TV standard developed in the U.S. in 1953 by National Television System Committee. NTSC is used in United States, Canada, Japan, in most of the American continent countries and in various Asian countries. Rest of the world uses either some variety of PAL or SECAM standards.

Same standard also apply to VCR and DVD Player, that why some of them do not play tape or dvd that has PAL format.

It's the format used in the U.S. and a few other countries. It actually means National Television Standards Commitee, but most people say it means Never The Same Color.... lol!!!
