pencil, I like the scratchy sound it makes and you can erase mistakes too!

Pens. Writing with pencils you have to worry about it breaking, smearing, the eraser not working-then you have those pencils that you can barely read the lead...pens all the way.

Pencil for math work or something informal, If its a paper or report then I prefer pen as I think it looks better.

i would go with pen b/c i write left handed so it smears all over the place when i write things...i really hate it when that happens...also b/c if you want to keep documents **like stories, or wutever** pencil would smear on the bak of the front page and pen doesnt really do that...the only time i would use pencil is when i have to do math problems or scantron tests....but outside of that...i mainly use pen...

I like writing with SHARP pencils...My pencils always get dull quickly and it's so annoying. A pen beats a dull pencil.

Pens, pencils make my hands dirty. Also, I write a lot--I hate having to stop to sharpen a pencil.
