Because they are searching for answers
They read the answer and when it hits a button with them and makes more sense then disbelieving it gets their attention they have to reply other wise they wouldn't worry about it
And it is also like yin and yang

For some people astrology is ruled by the Devil...yep believe it or not !!
So they will try to put you down without any firm explanations..By the way most people I know who put it down just do not have a clue whatsoever but will follow blindly what is told to them.
Some people are used to just reading their daily horoscopes and are surprised when it does not apply eh eh eh...have not realised it is for pure entertainment. But never mind..
Some are hard-core "I believe in what I see and can prove" ..therefore what I do not understand I dismiss. It is just not real to me : only idiots will go for "smug face" that cr$$$$..am better than them (smirk).!
Others just do not have a clue..but will post nonetheless because they have nothing else to do..
I would not personally post in the spirituality/religion and put down Christians and co..I am not qualified to argue with them but many of those will feel totally justified to come and criticise what they don't know nor researched in any way.
Some people actually do try to change people..Bible this, verse that, page that blah blah blah..
so like someone above said : it is all of the above !

Answers isn't an Astrology site, it's about just about everything. Your question gets posted for a short time on the main page, and people who aren't on the "astrology" category see it, and some see fit to answer....like me this time.

I think its to validate their intelligence. Astrology is really just for fun for most people, I think. These so-called "intellectuals" don't comprehend this.
