my disk cleanup will not work, i can still use defrag, i am using windows 2000 pro. Does any one have a soloution for this problem please, any ideas would be greatfully appreciated, thankyou

Try, Start>Run type: cleanmgr
click ok.

I run Windows 2000 Pro for my business, and it will not work, even in Administrators mode, it is harder also if your running it and sign it as a user or AST.net.
Your have to have the right permissions, I got a free program from the net called Advanced Window Cleaner 2, it checks the entire system and gives you a report of all the problem, including registry issues and it also has a Memory Cleaner to retrieve the fragmented RAM.
