i want to start it asap.. im not concerned about the actual birth control part. i was told to wait until my period starts but that isnt for another month. if i start it now will it hurt me?

You don't want to screw up your cycle. So wait until you are told to begin the pills. This is important because the hormones will be "off", and you won't necessarily get the proper skin reaction. You want everything to be balanced right? Do it as prescribed!

The reason that it is usually recommended to wait until the next period starts or thereabouts is because it is to try and help keep the cycle on track. Our cycles start with the very first day of our next period. But to be on the safe side check with your dr to see if it's ok to start it sooner.

You may get some side affects from using birth control pills. I suggest against taking them.
