why are so many girls at age 15 to 17 years old puting thereselves out there?

well my name is shayla.and im 15 and i dont put myself out there.but why do other girls do?

Because of shows that cater to teenagers, the advertisers on those shows constantly put beauty, weight, skin color, clothing choices, and a host of other subjects designed to lure the teen into thinking that dressing and behaving in a certain way will bring you fame, wealth, relationships, popularity, boyfriends. Teen girls are especially pushed to believe that being sexy, dressing provactively, and "teasing", are qualities a young man will look for, when the reality of it is that a teen male will find a girl that is behaving that way as "slutty", nice to look at but not to have a relationship with. The "teasers" are likely girls with low self esteem, possibly have been abused or attacked sexually, and are not really looking for someone to sleep with them, that is not their goal, even though it appears that way. Oftentimes, their home life is off balance and they are searching, looking for stability.

some girls feel the need to be loved and they think that putting it about is going to get them that love but it doesn't. Some girls do it because they want to have a baby because they want something to love and some girls do it because there parents haven't taught them any morals you should be proud of yourself for not being like this and hope you carry on this way for a few years to come x
