I think that in the US there are so many poorly drawn cartoons. Liked Fairly odd parents, danny phantom, and grim adventures. There just like beasic shapes with faces on them. What do you think

I agree. For example, the difference between "Batman The Animated Series" and "The Batman" is that the 1992 Btaman cartoon was both dark and sophisticated. We grew up with the fact that Btaman is a lonely, depressed individual. But "The Batman" is just one-dimensional. So yes, cartoons are drawn poorly these days.

it is poorly drawn but the way that they make everyday live in to a total fantasy makes it really nice to watch that y most kids this days don't really care if it poorly drawn.

You are right but it is global:-
yu-gi-oh characters hardly move at all (they stand still and think alot) probably so they don't have to bother with proper animation

My kids watch this kind of crap

But they are more appreciative of the lovely flowing animation of Tom and Jerry

i'll agree with that, but that is what makes the kinda fun. it opens up the possiblities for super large facial expressions. were-as anime has to be pretty strict to conform to thier faces (expresion-wise)

I have noticed the same thing. But not only in TV but in music as well. It's like there is no more originality.
