Would it be advisable to send up a huge sheet of paper? Scissors would be useless.

Ah, but what if a giant pair of scissors were to cut the paper in half? What happens then? Although I'm still not entirely sure how a piece of paper trumps a rock...

Oh, I get it...because paper covers rock, right? HA! If an asteroid where coming towards the earth, I'd just grab the three nearest people and head for the closest bed...at least I'd die happy!

Its rock, paper, scissors, not asteroid, paper, scissors. So no, the sheet of paper wouldnt work either.

It would not do any screaming it would approach without a sound until it entered the atmosphere,then after it landed you would hear the roar,if you were still around.
