It's got an early 90's hip hop/r&b feel, there's rapping in the verses and the chorus or bridge goes:

it's definitely not Shoop by Salt N Pepa...that album is good by the way...
but I really don't know anymore lyrics other than that...
except for one line from a verse: "it's the bomb....YO"
And I know that probably doesn't help much =\
There is a rapper who has a fairly light voice, and the guy who sings the chorus has a deep, almost baritone voice...
i wish i could sing it for you guys, i know one of you would recognize it!

The song is called "Shoop". It is sung by the all girl hip-hop trio, Salt-N-Pepa. They were big during the late 80's, early 90's. They also had a girl DJ that used to spin the records and rap also. I think her name was Spinderella. Pepa is currently on a reality show on VH1. The one with the little midget. I forgot the name of it. I think it's the Surreal Life.

I'm not sure of the name of this one but I know FOR SURE it is not "Shoop" by Salt N Pepa.... I will keep trying to find the right answer for you though!
