Great question! Why take life serious is what I say when you may have lived your last day. Live every day like it is your last and you will have no regrets throughout eternity. Too many times people get upset over minimal things, thinking they have all this time, when actually it can be over in a blink. God gave all of us this wonderful gift of life! Take advantage of it to the fullest and remember there is no set time table as to when it will end.

I think a little of both. There are things in life that I take too seriously, and it causes me grief because some of them I have no control over. For example, contemplating that my parents are getting older, and I might lose them soon, causes me much pain.
On the other hand, I'm not afraid to take risks if the reward seems worthy; where many people hesitate on the edge in fear of making a mistake, I jump right in. I made up my mind to marry my husband after only 3 months of knowing him; it took him another year to decide. Both of us are very happy with the decision, it just took him longer.

Did take life very serious at one time and put others before me!
Used to be an optimist, but learnt after 20 years of marriage and many promises, to be a pessimist and take each day as they come!
So I guess a bit like you!

I sometimes take life a little too serious, which is why I end up getting upset when things don't turn out right.

Day at a time. Also, I enjoy taking the back alleys instead of the main streets and highway. Life happens in the alleys of life.

honey life is what happens in the time between your plans so I find it's best to go with the flow ! there are times to be serious and fun in fact to quote another old chestnut every thing has it's time and place but if you regiment your life too much you end up going gaga

I dont. I have no meaning. I am as dead already.
The reason why i think like this, is because i was born alone and i will die alone. Nobody has really ever known me. The people i have come to know and love will die. I will die. If i die unfamous i will be forgotten. My great great great great grandchildren will never know i existed.
If i die famous, i will still not be remembered throughout time, as generations move on, people will forget me and i will die with time.
So i dont rate myself.. Im now, today. But im also yesterday. As far as people are concerned Im nobody, so that means im dead already.

I do take life serious we only live once and i wished i was laid back but i am not so i take things as tey come and deal with things on a as needed basis..Priorities first.
