R rated you have to be 17 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Sometimes you can still get in if the don't check your ID...I was never so lucky...always got asked for ID at R movies until I was about 25!! Good luck!

someone has to be at least 18. there us always the option of buying tickets for one movie and go to see the rated R movie. that's what i do. try not to get caught!

No neither of you can. You have to be 18 to enter R-rated movies unless ur parent goes and buys the tickets for you!! :(

have the 17 yr old buy your ticket, act like its her turn to treat. sometimes the movie people with be jerks and demand to see your ID, but i've only encountered this once. my bf had given me his wallet when i was 16, he was 18 to buy us tickets to an R movie. the girl wouldn't let me buy the tickets but would let him buy the two tickets with me standing right next to him. all depends on the person really. should be fine though as long as you don't let them know you're 16.

no. u both have to be 18! and only someone 21 or older can buy tickets for kids under 18.

Yea it depends on what movie it is because some movies require for an i.d to be shown when you get your tickets.
