I am about to turn 21 and I am excited at the prospect of applying to one of Reno's great casinos as a cocktail waitress. I am a Reno native and have always known I wanted to be a cocktail waitress as soon as I was old enough, to help get through college and my first years on my own.
I know you have to tip out the bartender, but how much? And do you tip out anyone else?
Thanks

I dont mean how much does a customer tip a bartender I mean how much should a waitress who gets her drinks from a bartender give from her own tips. If you dont work in a casino or restaurant you probably dont understand the concept of tipping out.

You should ask the floor manager what the rules are. Usually each establishment will have expectations about how much you tip out. My recollection (and I'm an old gal now) is that it's 50% of your tips.

Bartender advice paintings basically like all different styles of advice. The going fee is 15%. notwithstanding, if i flow to a bar or eating place, I continually tip 20% if the provider became into astounding. on your case, in case you basically opt to tip a $a million on one beer, you may the two hand the bartender the 4 and say "save it" or you may flow away it on the bar. do no longer hassle telling the barternder the $a million is the top, thats form of cheesy. I even have in no way been to a bar the place the top jar became into in attain of the customers. the top jar, if the bar has one, is often at the back of the bar and used to pool advice to be shared with different workers.

I understand what you are saying. The best way to find out is ask one of your coworkers or supervisor. Every place is different. bettyk
