Yah, they make products out there that will scuff out any of the nicks/scratches in cd/dvd 's. Goto circuit city, or any electronic stores. Do not get the liquid stuff though...they dont work. Also toothpaste and a toothbrush, that might help.

Rab ... It seems that Brasso may be the hands-down winner for CD/DVD scratch repair. See my link below and scroll down a bit to the section headed "Trivia."
If you cannot find it in the cleaning section of your local market, try Home Depot, Lowes, or any other hardware store and ask for whatever brand of brass polish they have. Also, if you know anyone in the U.S. Army, they SURE as heck know what Brasso is. It's used to polish the brass belt buckle and the branch insignia used with their dress uniforms.

Toothpaste... rub it in there then clean it off...
send it to a pro...

I have seen repair kits in Kmart for cd/dvd scratches. I do not remember the name of it or if it really works.

Get a Skip Doctor from Wal-Mart or EB games. They work the best. They clean them while removing a thin layer, enough to get rid of the scratches.
