Is it true that the soap opera will be over this up coming Fall? I heard that the stupid Today show wants to have a 4th hour so they are cutting out Passions.

YES, IT'S TRUE THERE GOING TO CANCEL PASSIONS. I'VE HEARD SO MANY STORIES AS OF WHEN IT WILL BE OFF THE AIR. THE LATEST IS SEPT 7TH 2007. THERE ARE A LOT OF PETITIONS GOING AROUND ON THE ENTER NET. TRY www.tvseriesfinale.com/petition. I DO NOT WANT IT TO BE OVER THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SOAPS. IT'S SO DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE OTHERS. THAT'S WHY I LOVE IT SO.

NBC canceled Passions about a month ago so the Today Show could add another hour. It's not Matt Lauer's fault. He won't even be on the 4th hour.
Passions had low ratings and that had something to do with it too. Even though there are petitions to sign online, they won't be valid. The show is officially canceled and the storylines will be wrapped up by late August early September.
Time to get interested in another Soap. I watch AMC & OLTL. They're fun and my escape from reality. lol Keep on watching no matter what others tell you. Soaps are fun.

Yeah it's true,and it's an outrage!I been a fan of the show since 89,and I can't believe the Today show is going to take it's place.The soap they need to take off is Days Of Our Lives.

If you are that addicted to a soap, it's time you found other things to do with your life. I'm not a fan of the Today show, so I could care less either way.

People have started petitions to try and keep the show around, but it's offically canceled.
