Yes, there apparently is otherwise there wouldn't be two different kinds. The baby shampoo is made SPECIFICALLY for babies. They have sensitive scalps and the baby shampoo is formulated to be mild and gentle. Also, if the shampoo gets into their eyes it can become an irritant and cause problems.

The kid's shampoo is much stronger even though there may not be much of an age difference. The chemicals are stronger because kids are more active and have more oils in their hair as they grow and their hair grows. Then you also have the scents that are appealing to the children, but to a baby it may become an irritant.

Most kids shampoos get fancy scents and stuff which can irritate a young baby

Baby shampoo's are more mild. I'd buy a store brand baby shampoo before a brand name kid's shampoo.

Yes a marked difference,babies skin is very delicate .Children skin has developed a stronger epidermis surface.
