Who thinks Bush should be impeached, but would hate to see a President Cheney?

REASONS WHY, CHOOSE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING!! (in no particular order)

1. Lying about the reason for war and starting a war with the wrong country.
2. He gave himself the power to
wiretap, open the mail of, search,
and indefinitely detain any American citizen (INCLUDING YOU...GENIUS)
3. Allowing prisoners of war to be treated inhumanely (according to articles set forth and agreed upon at the Geneva Conventions)
4. LYING to us all, resulting in the deaths of thousands of troops, not only American.
5. The WMD lies.
6. For simply being a racist, classist, egregious idiot (ALTHOUGH NOT A VALID LEGAL ARGUMENT, HE SUCKS!!!)

If you can impeach Bush, there are plenty of reasons to impeach Cheney.

Remember, impeachment is something all public servants are subject to. Unfortunately the U.S. government is broken and does not impeach and remove from office its criminals... it's done by a vote, and the majority are criminals to begin with.

Knownothing, you obviously earned that name. I hate this system of partisan politics, where people can't see beyond party lines and stick to the relevant issues. Republicans tried to impeach Clinton for adultery...I think that might be a job for God and holds no legal bearings. Bush has lied repeated to the entire world, costed people their lives, and continues to do so daily.

To answer the question: I don't think impeachment would solve anything, because you would be stuck with Cheney who feeds "Idiot W" his thoughts. We need totally new leadership to effect change.

Not sure. If he is impeached and then Cheney takes over, does he serve 4 years as president? If so then no I would not like to see Bush impeached. I'd rather see him finish his term and have Hillary Clinton win the next election. :)

Well at least he is TRYING to defend our country! What the hell did you call it when good old BILL CLINTON was blatantly doing whatever it was he was doing in that oval office?(obviously sex), but don't tell him though because he doesn't know the definition of sex. I think Bush should be impeached the week before his term is up. This way it won't take up too much of congress's valuable time, Cheney won't be president for very long, and Bush can be punished for getting us into this stupid war.
