No it's simple....Wales is Gods Country and everyone should pay for the privilage to get in..........

Remember...there are 2 types of people in this world.................

The Welsh and the others that want to be Welsh...........

Would you prefer to pay twice..on the way back too?
Be thankful you only have to pay once. What's the problem anyhow..it's only over the severn bridge...everywhere else is free.Take an alternative route if it bugs you that much.

Cymraesgw...It is Sais not Saes.

You used to have to pay in both directions, but they simplified it about 10 years or so ago so you now only pay in one direction. It doesn't make any difference as to where the money goes... though, yes, I love to tell people Wales is so good that you have to pay an entrance fee!

Had to laugh about the sheep shagger thing, coming from a Norfolk bloke!!! Pmsl!!!

Anyway, to answer your question, Wales is worth paying entry to, England, hmmm, unless you're an illegal immigrant in Dover it's not likely you'd want to be there...

you should take the long way round - i live on the border in the north and don't have to pay to get in.....I'd be bankrupt by now if I had to....or i'd just move back to Shropshire!

Anyways - drive up to the north and drive back down again to the south, no charges then!

More people are trying to get into Wales than are trying to get out...so by having to pay to get into Wales they are collecting more revenue!
