These boxes can be filled with pot pourri. I have managed to get 18 boxes in a craft shop but can't get any more. I need another 10.

Hi:

Try Hobby Lobby they have paper mache box of all sizes and you can cut or punch some holes in them to do what you want here.

Also trying use some cling wrap and tear some newpaper into strips or triangles and paper mache paste or elmers glue to make your boxes. Just do the following :

Wrap cling wrap around the boxes until you cover the out side of the box then apply about five layers of newpaper strips or triangles dipped in paper mache glue, paste or Elmer's glue and allow it to dry over night. Remove the box and apply more five layers to it. Both inside and out. Dry over ( for the lid - Do the same thing but use the bottom of the box or use a sightly larger box; wrap it in cling wrap first than papper mache it . If a rough look is needed, than paint it and allow to dry over night or do whatever you want to it. If a smooth finish is needed than sand it with coarse sand paper and paint, dry over. Re sand it with a finer coarse of sand paper repaint it , dry over night repeat this as necessary. unitl the finish you want is gotten. than paint it and there you go. ( do the same thing for the lids as well) new booxes all made.

help this helps

You can buy all sorts of paper mache boxes at any craft store. If you can't find the ones with holes, make your own using ice picks, heavy duty paper punches, etc. - depending on whether or not you want the holes plain or fancy.

Ask the store to order more or call their other locations if you need them right away. Ask the store you went to for suggestions. Look in the phone book for craft and hobby stores and start calling around. I didn't have any luck on the web. good luck.
