The 1st time i watched a scary movie i watched 3 on the same night, they were all hillarious, Candyman.. so funny, Nightmare on Elm Street, almost peed my self laughing at it, but The Blair Witch had to be the best, the funniest part of the night was that my best mate and my cousin were sh*ttin themselves.

The Neverending Story.

Ok, so it's not a horror film, but when I saw it there was a preview for Gremlins at the beginning that sent me running out of the theater. Ok, so Gremlins wasn't a horror film either. What can I say, I was wussy when I was 4.

The first real horror film I ever watched was called "The Stuff." It was a terrible movie about yogurt that was alive and dissolved you from the inside out once you ate it.

The first horror movie I ever saw was one called "Straight Jacket", had to be really ancient because it was in black and white. It starred Bette Davis or Joan Crawford, was I guess what you'd call a "slasher" movie, along the lines of the Lizzie Borden legend ,I was about 13 at the time and it scared the bejeebers outta me!

The first one I ever saw was Jaws, first one I saw in a theater was Friday the 13th part 3 (in 3-D), and my scariest is also Candyman - my best friend is still mad at me for making her watch it with me.

I think it was probably the first "the hills have eyes"
either that or one of the zombie films like "dawn of the dead"
the one in the shopping center with the cheesy music keeps coming back to me - we watched it a couple of weeks ago with the kids - we all laughed it was so bad

Okay...I'm showing my age here.

The ORIGINAL Godzilla. That was circa 1958? Starred Raymond Burr (yeah, I know..."who's Raymond Burr???")

That was scarey stuff then...the remake was fun a few years ago. But I remember being totally scared of the first one!

I much prefer the GOOD spookers these days...not the blood & gore only stuff, but the ones with really "make your hair stand on end" plots...Pet Semetary was one that scared the bejesus out of me...

But the best ones you watch alone & in the dark.... BOO!!!!!

First: "The Wolfman Meets Frankenstein"

Scared me the most: "The Omen", in the theater, the first time.

Creepiest (need the lights on): The original "Invaders from Mars"

There was this old B/W horror movie with a giant eyeball that crawled around and tore people's heads off. Don't remember the name but I saw it on "Chiller Theater" when I was about 10 and it scared the crap out of me.

Well this wasn't a horror movie but it scared me so much when I first saw it. It was actually a poor rated movie.

Howard the Duck when Jennings was possessed by the Overlord.
That scared me when I was 6.
