Africa has a history of having many South Asian immigrants, particularly merchants but also people imported to provide labor to the European colonists. Gandhi lived in South Africa, for example. That great Denzel Washington movie, Mississippi Masala, tells the story of a South Asian family who had fled Uganda. So -- there are South Asians, most of whom are Hindu, in Africa, particularly in the South and East (close to India).

But -- white hair, blue eyes? My bet is that she has made this choice herself, and it's not her family's religion. It could even be a passing fancy, if she is still a teenager.

Sounds like a hocus pocus made up profile. I am FROM Zimbabwe and I am Indian.

and I don't know of any blonde blue-eyed girl who is Hindu.
(She probably looked in an atlas and picked the last country in the world Alphabetically).

My best friend is a Hindu Indian and she was born in Kenya. So, yeah I guess that girl could be one too. Or she could be joking; people on myspace rarely tell the truth in when it come to personal info.

The nature of the question does not beg an answer.

Religion is not confined to political borders. If it was, I would definately try to move christianity back to the Mediterranean where came from.

People are what they choose. She could have learned about Hinduism over here, or she could have made the choice in her native land.
