I am going over my friend's house and her parents smoke but do not smoke in the house " anymore ". Do you think that this smoke would still effect my lungs ??

PS. It is her birthday party and i already said i would go.

The only danger you can experience from second hand smoke, occurs if you breathe it in while they are smoking. If they are having the party outside, then they will feel free to smoke and you could be at risk. If the party is inside and they only smoke outside, you are ok. Don't be fooled by the odor in the house. Smokers take that Oder with them where ever they go. I commend you for wanting to be careful.

If they don't smoke in the house, it should not harm you.
