What's your best advice for a 23-year old BA (Sociology) graduate with little-to-no prior acting experience? I was just too scared to start earlier. How do I accumulate enough experience/ stage credits in time for an acting school or university program to give me a second look (i.e. before I round the bend into late 20s/early 30s)? How do I approach an application to such a school having next to nothing credits-wise? Are there any worthwhile 1-2 year programs, or university programs, that would be a possibility for me? I'm in a class right now through local theatre, but they do not offer full-fledged programs.

i might say it ends at seventy 5 yet i do no longer know that for specific. i might wish there is an age while it ends, yet so far at fifty 3 i've got not come for the duration of it. there's a turn area to that too. I had one in my young human beings and then had greater in my mid 30's. the seems do basically no longer give up. i became too youthful, and now i'm too previous. besides the incontrovertible fact that that is o.k. to be my age and undertake? Scratch head. i think of that's an argument of what makes a individual experience greater advantageous approximately themselves. in the event that they could desire to experience like a greater physically powerful discern than somebody else, they %. aside different parents. base line is there is not any correlation between age and being a sturdy discern, some suck at each age.

Look into acting conservatories--they are a good boost into an acting career, especially for someone with a college degree already.
