Because Faux news doesn't have anything to do...They don't report any real news so that doesn't leave much for them to do.... The obsession you speak of is proof of the market they try to reach.... the uneducated, unread, whacko's that live amongst us.

Because the alternative is focusing on the nightmarish reality the GOP has given us over the last 6 years. Record numbers of American families now living in SEVERE poverty. Stagnent job growth. Stagnent wages (except for the GOP's rich supporters, of course). A fiasco in Iraq. Osama's whereabouts still completely unknown.
So, it's either cover nonsense like Britney, or try to find some way to put a positive spin on this disastrous administration. I don't blame them for choosing to go with the fluff instead.

Flip the channel once in a while... ALL the cable channels are obsessed with Anna Nicole and Brittney. Its all about ratings. I guess it shows you where the American public is at doesn't it?

I, for one, couldn't understand why these two odd balls were getting so much coverage either.
The following is NOT particularly good news.
CNN cut back on this coverage because they felt the same way - now, a day later, they find their ratings have fallen below MSNBC.
Scary, eh?

I dont know, im conservative and honestly i couldnt give a care in the world. I have my own problems, and as beautiful as she may be, she messed up her own life and now her family must deal with the consequences.
