The Smokey Mountains are located in Tennessee but you can drive over them and end up in North Carolina. The mountains are So Beautiful! If you haven't been there, you would really like them. We rented horses on our honeymoon and rode up the Smokey Mountains. Just Gorgeous!

Tennesee and North Carolina, great vaction spot btw.
The cabin rentals are the way to go. A 90 minute time share presentation will get you one for free.
I saw the Oak Ridge Boys at Patriot Park in Pidgeon Forge with a faboulous firework show for the Fourth of July. Make sure you visit Cades Cove to see the bears as well!
