I am an acoustic guitarist/singer and I've been writing and playing my own songs for about four years but I don't know anything about recording devices. I want to record my songs (which just include acoustic guitar + voice) to Cd's for my friends to listen to; but I have no idea where to start. I'm looking for something relatively inexpensive. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks so much.

I own a BOSS CD 900. It is very easy to use and the sound quality is very good but it may be a little more than you need, however they do make a smaller version you can probably get for about $550.00 to $600.00. good luck.
