whats the deal with the seattle sonics?

i understand they have been sold to oklahoma, and the conditions in which they need to stay located in seattle, but what is the current status? do you know if they will stay there or will they eventually move? would they be the OKLAHOMA SUPERSONICS?

They were sold to an Oklahoma businessman and will play in Seattle at least until next year. As far as the 2008-2009 season goes, well who knows? Personally, I think they will move if a stadium deal is not worked out.

depends on what the current owners are offered fro mthe city of seattle! if they want the team to stay, then the people will be willing to pay more to see a game, and make up for the revenue losses the team is currenmtly having! actually, this is news to me, but i am not surprised because that team has gone down the tubes!

well for nowi just read it in ESPN that the supersonics did not give that paper that they were supposed to give which ment that the supersonics are staying with seattle

Oklahoma didn't buy them, some businessman from Okla. did. I think they are staying.
