You could try it, you might be disappointed. I had a flat tire once while I was driving on a very busy road. I sat out there for about an hour and only 1 guy stopped. I think people are just either too scared to stop or lazy.

No, because someone out there might truly be in need of help. You would waste people's time for your own entertainment, and might hinder others who do need assistance.
