My best friend is a boy called Neo and he's three years older than me. We only know each other over the internet but if we're upset we always manage to cheer each other up.
My friend says that when a girl and boy get together, one starts to develope a crush on the other in the end, it's garunteed (however you spell it)
All I want to know is, is this true, that if a girl and boy become best friends, they start to have a crush on each other?
And I want to know if he likes me ... heh ^_^;
He said he loved me a few times when I made him really happy and helped him out with some of his research, and then he said it once for no real reason, then I said, 'what?' and he said, 'haha, nothing, just feeling 'psychrotic' which is a word he made up for being 'interested in romance' or something
Now I'm absolutely confused
Oh yeah, Neo already has a girlfriend if that helps

It's definitely possible for a girl and guy to be friends without romance. My best friend throughout high school was a guy. He even came to my wedding!
Since yours is an internet friendship - just be careful.

Normally when a boy and a girl become friends one of them starts to like the other. it just happens. But..if he already has a girlfriend and he is saying he loves you. its probably because he knows it what you want to hear. like hes trying to make you fall in love with him. Dont. Just be friends with him. dont push things. see where they lead to.
