What I do?

The thing is it was a concert ticket for second row and then later I bid and won a front row ticket for the same concert so I no longer want the second row ticket.

On top of that the seller of the second row ticket was really kind to me because I asked him if he could wait a couple of weeks until payday for me to buy the tickets and he was really nice about it.

What happens if I don't pay? Is it that serious?

Pay for it and resell it.

Yes it is very serious if you do not pay. You can be suspended from Ebay. When you bid, you enter into a contract. And changing your mind or getting something better is not an excuse of not paying. The seller deserves to be treated with the same respect he has shown to you. I would ask if they would consider letting you out of the contract, which a seller can do. It is called mutual cancelling a sale. I have done this before for buyers in some instances. Or you could just pay up and then resell the tickets yourself. Then you have honored your part of the bargain and maybe next time will be a bit more savvy about buying on Ebay.

If you ignore it you will get a strike against your account and be thrown off ebay permanently. Plus you just cost that seller money that they can't get back. What a jerky thing to do. At least contact the seller and offer to pay the insertion fees for the thing so they don't get totally screwed by your stupidity. btw you don't give ebay credit card info, you pay via paypal. Next time read before doing anything like this. The sellers on ebay are trying to pay their bills and make a living, they don't need losers like you on there ripping them off.

If you don't pay (especially after having a seller bend the rules for you already), there's a good chance a complaint will be lodged against you. Pay for both tickets, and then sell the one you don't want. If you can't sell the unwanted one, then chalk it up to experience and a lesson learned; NEVER bid on anything you don't want or can't pay for the MOMENT you place the bid.

Let them know right away. Usually they will a chance to either resell or they have what's called second chance offer where if the winner doesn't pay the next in line can decide if they still want it for the previous price prior to your bid. I've done this myself. Just let the seller know right away so he can decide what to do. Next bid on only one item.

When you commit to purchase something on eBay it always says you have entered a legal contract. You should pay for the ticket and then resell it.

Morally, I would think you'd be ashamed to ask him to help you out by waiting and then refuse to pay him. What does that say about your character?

Yes he could leave you bad feedback that might prevent you from being able to buy other things. He could also report you to eBay and they would help in getting the money from you. I would just purchase the tickets and put them back on eBay. You might even get more than you paid for them. You wouldn't want to not pay for it after he was so nice to you about it.

Pay for it and then resell it. Don't be a dufus ebay user. They'll certainly give you bad feedback if you welch.

1st row, 2nd row- not a big difference. If you are that short of money, you shouldn't have been gambling on both those tickets.

pay for it and relist it. It would be really crappy of you to just not pay for it. You'd most likely get negative feedback, and since this is something time-sensitive, the seller could file a grievance against you, which could ultimately end up with you having to pay for it anyway. Just do the right thing.

You made a commitment to both sellers. Your choices are to contact the first seller and see if he'll relist the item and let you out of the deal or you can buy it and relist it yourself.

ya this is kind of serious because if you do not pay for an item when you had the highest bid, your eBay account will be closed (deleted). Therefore you will not be able to access it.
