I collect any pottery, China, Earthen War, and glass shards along with bottles and insulators. I used to live next to a creek with abandoned railroad tracks and I found a crazy amount. Only surface no digging. I know the rules. :) Anyone ever register them and note the areas found precisely? I want to use mine for art since I have no real proof of where I found them except a few photos and a map of the creek which my ex has... What do you do with your finds? ;) JB

No Pottery shards but I have over 1000 pieces of Indian arrowheads, drills, hammers, and grinders, including Axe heads.
I display some of them in box frames.

I also collect pottery shards. I live along the upper mississippi and there are a bunch of things that float down it. I have taken certian pieces in to be looked at and if you get the right person looking at it they can tell you were it floated from its vey cool. I once found a sealed bottle of cologne from 1898 that was pretty cool
