Complicated is a relative term. Everything can't be complicated because we would have nothing to know what simple is. So everything by definition can not be complicated or simple it is everything.

In a different vein I think that most things that are complicated have a much more simple explanation. We insist to make things complicated because it seems more believable. the simplest answer is usually the correct one.

Its only complicated when you try to understand it centre outwards - try and do it the other way around and study "everything" backwards. Its like a tree with lots of branches and twigs - at first glance it looks like chaos (especially if you viewpoint is from the middle of the tree, with branches all around you) but zoom out and look at the whole tree at once and you can follow every twig back to a branch and all branches to the tree and its roots. Everything you come across that seems complicated is just another twig.

Besides, would be pretty boring after a while if everything was straight forward.

Life as you here is complicated only because others make it complicated or you do it by accident. Don't worry it happens all the time. It may depend on the kind of situation your going through. It could be homework issues family issues anything. I wouldn't worry about the case because the next day is a brand new day even if nothing exciting is going on. God gave us signs so just stick with the point. Don't get over frustrated because people let you down. Stick up for yourself nomatter how difficult. I get stressed every day and went through tuff cases in life and a friend tought me to work hard and relax in the end because everythings going to work out in the end. Life is complicated because it is so big. Think about it: is calculus complicated? Yes, but it is all based on smaller fundaments. "Everything" is essentially decided by random movements of the constituents of molecules (Think protons, neutrons, neutrinos or (?)super strings). When it is all added up into the delicate balance of life, we can only look at the creations of these constituents without understanding them. So as we go through life, what we do is guesswork; if something doesn't work for us it seems complicated. And that is because--unless one is wholly omniscient--everything IS.

I've asked this question myself. But I really think it depends on what you're really talking about..

Why are relationships complicated? Because both people in the relationship want to be heard and never really listen.

Why are jobs complicated? They're jobs. They are meant to suck.

Why is waking up complicated? Because being snuggled up in a warm bed is so darn nice.

Why is growing up complicated? Because you have curfews and can't do what you want when you want.

Why is life complicated? Because you can't do what you want when you want.

eliminate the "if" in any situation then the solution is simple. Mankind has some basic principles and when followed, things are easy and clear. Eliminate theories and stick to facts. Mankind makes things complicated with their refusal to accept what is factual and true.
