to purchase goverment bonds?

I live in Ohio and am wondering where to go and if my bank (national city) has the ability to sell them.

Unless you are loaded with millions of dollars, the best way to buy governemnt bonds is to purchase them through an index fund or an ETF. Unless you are talking about savings bonds, then you can buy those in the bank.

You can buy Treasuries over the Internet.
