Yes, I have. I also volunteered for a few years at the local station answering phones for the pledge drives. That was always a lot of fun, although the crank calls usually outnumbered the actual donors.Usually local restaurants would provide great dinners and lunches for the workers. One year, the cast of "Are You Being Served?" was there visiting.
If you ever get the opportunity, go for it. And make a Pledge!

No. and as long as they keep people like Jim Lehrer and Bill Moyer, I won't. I like some of their shows, but their political outlook sickens me.
