I am a tried in true dyed in blue great society bleeding heart democrat & I own GUNS! I know this shock the right but being Liberal and owning weapons are NOT mutually exclusive as many would have you believe, how many other liberals on here own guns? More importantly if the need arose would you be willing to use them?

I'm a liberal and can't afford a firearm. It's my stupid Hot Rod hobby it cost a lot to maintain a fleet of fast cars.

But if you are so inclined you can get me a 28 gauge Ashley Fox. I would be very appreciative.

I could make McGiever style home grown weapons is the Enemy was attacking. Like cross bows or WMD's from common Hardware store materials.

Go big Red Go

I do, semiauto and bolt action, and I know how to use them, and would use them to good effect in self defense or defense of my country. Provided, of course, the threat were real. That reminds me, I'm down to 500 rounds for the semi, think I'll go get some more. I hear some Al Qaeda terrorists are headin our way with some WMD. It'll take em some time to paddle their canoe this far though. So, I guess I have time to get to the range and practice some more. Now where'd I put that duct tape?

I find no conflict in being a Liberal and being a supporter of the Bill of rights my friend.
The technology exist to keep good Americans from possessing them would leave them at the mercy of an armed criminal element or just as bad a police state.

I have no problem owning guns, I just haven't found the need. (I don't hunt or live in a bad neighborhood.)

I was in the military and would most definately use one for defense.

It's not the guns, it's the irresponsibility of some people with guns. I'm with you; nothing strange to me about a liberal with a gun.

don't care much about politics and government. but i am very liberal about owning guns. especially, my damn guns and weapons. there would never have been an america without private ownership of guns and weapons. maybe it is a necessary evil to protect personal freedom. i won't belabor the point; it should be obvious to anyone with a smattering of brains.

I feel more strongly than ever that we need to prevent any infringement on our right to bear arms. I believe it is crucial that all Americans become prepared to defend their way of life, if need be. I have recently purchased a fire arm and am learning how to shoot. I want to get several more. Be prepared! That is my motto, now.

I have them, I have lots of ammo.. and I know how to shoot them.. the problem with today's youth shooting up schools isn't the guns.. it's that they aren't being taught the consequences.. me and my Beebe gun blew away many birds/crickets/spiders/minnows in my youth.. I've always known the power and responsibility I held in my hands

most i know. libs not owning guns is a false stereotype, like most. firearms ownership is not based on political or religious beliefs,it is strictly personal choice. you could call gun owners pro-choice. no political party has ever took away our guns and won't. the gun control issue is used by politicians, like abortion and gay marriage.

I earned expert in the army. I don't own a gun, I don't like them. However if it became necessary for me to one one and to use it I would not hesitate.
