My husband and I are planning on going on our honeymoon this summer. We aren't really the "sit on the beach for a week" type. We are active, like to explore, tour and all that stuff. Where could we go that isn't extremely expensive but still have an amazing time? Any suggestions? Thanks for the time.

get flights to lima, and then bus around peru. do the inca trail, go to the rainforest, nazca lines, ica, pisco, floating islands of uros..........

if you have more time then go to bolivia as well - lake titicaca, la paz - mountain biking, jungle - if you didnt go in peru, go down the mines in potosi - buy dynamite for miner who will set off explosion for you, salar de uyuni (salt flats - these are amazing, and the lake that is red like tomato soup!) the train 'graveyard' in uyuni

once you are there, it doesnt cost much - your biggest cost will be flights

Well it is a honeymoon which is suppose to happen once, right! So, anywhere in the U.S.A or Canada shouldn't be that expensive depending on what you like. Also, you didn't say where u were located, so that doesn't help not having that info but there are many great package deals going on that includes Flight/Hotel or whatever. Oh yeah also check the out cruises. Many specials going on from 3 to 7 days and more. Check out the links below...

It doesn't show where you are from andI don't know what your intrests are.

It is amazing how many things your can find to tour in your own hometown.

In Milwaukee where I lived when I got married we have a wonderful museum with Imax theater, Hands on Exploration section, The Betty Brine museum, the Milwaukee County Zoo, the brewerys, holacaust museum, art museum, performing art cent. I could go on all day.

On my honey moon and I remember it as the happiest week of my life. Not because we didn't have our share of problems but it was being with the only person I loved to be with and talk to having money and time to do what ever we wanted. We went several places in our own state mostly all our favorite places. Camping in Minoqua, Wisconsin Dells. and finally finished off with a shopping trip to Southridge mall at which time I fainted was taken to the hospital by ambulance and found out I was pregnant.

The total cost of the trip $100 food, $100 gas.

China has rich culture and history, if that's what you're interested in. The Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Terracota Warriors, as well as temples. The plane tickets may be more expensive than a trip to Europe, but souvenirs, hotels, and other expenses will be much more expensive in Europe! It's a great country for those interested in culture and history!

There are a lot of great places right here in the US to go, just look and see. You go over seas and they don't care about you, all they want is your money, and then laugh behind your back. Yeah help us out so we can buy more bombs. Keep it here, and help us out!!
